Weather permitting, you can relax on The Mall and watch a game of cricket - Friday 9th August from 6.00pm and Sunday 11th August from 1.00pm.. repeat - weather permitting (but nothing better on a nice day!)

Enoy a drink, a bit of craic and some live folk / trad / bluegrass at Red Neds - Live Friday Night Music Sessions.
Saturday 10th August – Armagh Summer in the City
Armagh Summer in the City this week has lots and lots to entertain you. Try your skill at the Penalty Shoot-out, say ‘sit’ to some lovely ‘pets’ as the Dogs Trust hosts a drop-in session for all you dog owners and have your portrait painted by the very talented puppet, Paddy Picasso. Learn a little about what is above and below your garden soil in the Plant & Play’s Wee Beasties workshop. Other free activities include face painting and balloon modelling.

Sunday 11th - Sunday 18th August - Charles Wood Festival and Summer School 2024
The 31st Charles Wood Festival and Summer School runs from Sunday 11th August to Sunday 18th August. The festival celebrates the music of Charles Wood and seeks to give singers and musicians an opportunity to perform and develop their talents. We do this through events during the year and our annual summer school in August for singers, organists and choir directors. It is held in all the main churches in Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Fancy learning how to hula or to juggle? Maybe even learn a few magic tricks? These are some of the fun activities happening as part of Armagh Summer in the City. Face painting, balloon modelling and live music with some pop-up play for toddlers.
