As part of its 100th birthday, the BBC has been bringing special roadshow events to towns and communities across the region.
BBC Comes to Town 2024 includes outside broadcasts, an interactive experience and lots more besides.
The next venue is Armagh on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August
Armagh Library will be the location for a new BBC interactive exhibition, giving visitors the opportunity to experience what it’s like to present a BBC weather forecast or BBC Newsline bulletin. Sports commentary is another of the excitements on offer and there’s a fun radio drama for budding actors to get involved with as well. And if a career in the BBC sounds interesting, there’ll be information and advice on what’s available, and how to find out more.
Don't miss this opportunity to get behind the scenes and be part of the magic of broadcasting with your BBC. See you there!
