A few photos from a very special event held on Sunday 24th August at The Mall. An Armagh Cricket Club Select XI hosted the Lester Select XI in a charity cricket game known as The Jim “Lolly” Lester Cup. The game was in honour of Jim Lester and also his brother Billy Lester who both sadly passed away some years previous.
The day proved a fantastic success with a large crowd gathered at the mall and many former players and current players turned out to play and support the showpiece event. Report and more pictures Here (or click the picture below)

Some great photos from the Armagh Diocese team working in Moinesti, Romania! Here’s what some of the team had to say about their first day on site yesterday…
“Today, we had the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity, and it was a really meaningful experience. I worked in a group with people I hadn’t met before, and it was great getting to know everyone as we worked together. It felt good to contribute to something that will make a difference, and I truly hope the families enjoy and love what we've helped build for them.” - Laura
“We spent the day helping build a home for families in need, and it was incredibly rewarding ,not just because of the work we got to do, but because we got to do it alongside the families themselves and an amazing team of builders. It was a very enjoyable day.” - Katie
