Welcome to the South Ulster Sinfonia Summer Concert 2025!
We are back at one of our favourite venues, St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral, for our annual musical extravaganza in the stunning city of Armagh.
We are looking forward to showcasing our 2025 programme of music including, Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Trumpets, Schubert's Symphony No. 6, Walton's Two String Pieces from Henry V and Rossini's Ill Signor Bruschino.

The South Ulster Sinfonia is hosting a fantastic night of live classical music on Saturday 21st June in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Armagh.
Music enthusiasts will be treated to a varied programme that includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 6, Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets, Walton’s Two String Pieces from Henry V and the delightful Il Signor Bruschino by Rossini.
Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets will showcase the extraordinary talent of two phenomenal local musicians and A-Level students, Jan Faulkner and Aoibheann McCluskey. Jan and Aoibheann are both students of the Music Service and members of the South Ulster Youth Orchestra.
The concert takes place on 21st June 2025 at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral and will round up a successful year of performances for the orchestra.
Tickets cost £5-£15 and are available HERE - and at the door on the evening of the event on a first come first served basis.
The South Ulster Sinfonia is a not for profit community orchestra of over 50 accomplished musicians that works with local schools, community choirs and charities to encourage music making in the local area.
Conducted by Philip Walton, who is a member of the Ulster Orchestra and led by Fionnuala Toman, the orchestra has been providing a creative outlet for local music talent for twenty years.
