St Matthew’s Church, Richhill would like to invite you to their Remembrance Festival, No Greater Love.
Various events are happening from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November, to mark the 80 years since the ending of World War Two.
There will be an epic poppy display, as well as displays telling the stories of those from The St Matthew’s Church family and the broader local community who served during the war.
Friday 7th November
11.00am - Opening Service with Archbishop John McDowell and the Hardy Memorial School Choir.
11.00am - 6.00pm - Exhibition open
7.30pm - We Will Remember Them in Story and Song. Admission by ticket only. Free tickets for this event will shortly be available (details of how you can get tickets will be shared very soon)
Saturday 8th November
10.00am - 8.00pm - Exhibition open
Sunday 9th November
10.45am - Remembrance Day Parade to a Service at Richhill War Memorial
11.30am - Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service in St Matthew’s Church
2.00pm - 6.00pm - Exhibition open
6.30pm - Closing service
Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend in the hall.
Donations are welcome, with proceeds towards church funds and military charities supporting veterans.
St Matthew’s Church hope you will be able to come along to remember those who gave their lives for us, and to reflect on the No Greater Love of the Lord Jesus.
