Courses:
As always, we have something for everyone:
Long ( ~ 6.5 km ) - fancy a long run?
Medium ( ~ 4.5 km ) - perfect for novice adults, or someone looking for a nice jog, or a longer amble.
Short ( ~ 2.5 km ) - perfect for beginners, family amble's, and experienced juniors
These are the optimal distances, so you may go further!
Course Safety & Junior Restrictions:
The Short Course is free of vehicular traffic. There are no road crossings and consequently I deem it perfectly safe for all teens and above to be able to navigate on their own.
For 12’s and under, juniors need to be accompanied by an adult. Whilst there is no traffic, we are still in an urban environment and safeguarding concerns need to be taken into account as well as H & S.
Any under 16’s wishing to complete the Medium or Long Courses will need to be accompanied by an over 16.
Entry Fees ( payable on the day ):
Juniors: £3.00 per map
Family amble's: charged at Junior rate of £3.00 x no. of maps required.
Individual Adult Run: ( aged 21 & over ) £ 6.00
Facilities:
Toilets and Food are available within J.D. Hunter's supermarket across the road from Registration.
