See below some information which will hopefully help those visiting:

❗ ROADS CLOSE AT 9.00am SHARP ❗

The Demonstration Field is located on the old road, with the Assembly Field being on the Newry Road.

There will be ample parking around the town including:

  • Ninemile Road - Best Approach from Cladymilltown Road and then Old Mount Road if arriving after 9.00am, or Armagh Road onto the Ninemile Road at the Frairy Road/Viewpoint Road Crossroads

  • Newry Road - Beside Ballymoyer Road Junction (Best Approach from Ballymoyer Road)

  • Monaghan Road and Old Road - Best Approach from Tullygeasy Road From the Keady Road

  • ⭐ Official Accessible Parking will be located at Newtownhamilton Presbyterian Church Car Park & Gospel Hall Car Park. Entry to these car parks is via OFFICIAL DISTRICT ISSUED ACCESSIBLE PARKING PASS ONLY and you MUST be in the car park BEFORE 8.30am

Loughgall Mini-Twelfth

Loughgall District LOL No. 3 will again be holding their Mini-Twelfth parade in
Loughgall Village, the Birthplace of the Orange Order. This year it will be held on
Saturday evening, 27th June 2026 leaving the assembly field at 7.15pm. Prior to the
parade, at 7.00pm in the assembly field, the District Lodge will be unfurling their
new District bannerette. Everyone will be made welcome.

It is hoped that all 22 Private Lodges along with their banners, will be on parade
that evening; in addition, Ladies from the Women’s Association have been invited
to take part, along with Junior Boys & Girls Lodges. County Officers will be in
attendance and visitors from other Counties and Districts are more than welcome
to attend.

Approximately 10 bands will accompany the Lodges through the historic village. As
ever, Loughgall District is renowned for the Lambeg Drum and many will be
accompanying the brethren if the weather is favourable.

Venue

Loughgall is of course the home of the Orange Order and is renowned throughout
the world for its Historical Significance of being the birthplace of the Orange Order,
something that Loughgall District are very proud of. Loughgall District is one of the
most geographically widespread within Co Armagh; and stretches from just outside
Armagh City into Co Tyrone.

The District has the proud distinction of having the Diamond area within its
boundaries, the scene of the famous Battle of the Diamond on 21 September 1795;
and of course, the parade will pass the “Museum of Orange Heritage” at Sloan’s
House, where the first Orange Warrants were signed after the battle.

Timings

The District will be unfurling their new bannerette in the assembly field at
Orchard Park, commencing at 7.00pm. The mini-12th parade, headed by Killylea
Silver Band, will leave the assembly field at 7.15 pm sharp. It will then proceed
through the village to the junction at Drumilly Road, stopping at the old church
ruins to lay a floral wreath in memory of those brutally murdered in the 1641
rebellion. The parade will return via the same route.

Car Parking

Car parking will be available along the parade route. Car parking will also be
available in a field beside Orchard Park, opposite the assembly field.

All sisters, brethren and juniors are welcome to come and parade through the
Historic birthplace of the Orange Order. Members of the public are invited to
come along and enjoy the spectacle.

All roads will be leading to Richhill Village on Sunday 26th April 2026 for our County Armagh Junior Orange Lodge Church Service.

This is a massive day within our Junior Orange calendar.

With more junior boys and girls joining the Orange family, and many more new junior lodges springing up all the time, we are all really looking forward to hosting this year’s church service in Richhill Presbyterian Church

This will be a parade not to be missed and a wonderful get-together for the entire Orange family.

So save the date and we look forward to seeing you in Richhill Village on Sunday 26th April 2026.

From the Methodist Church car park, proceeding to the square at the top of the village, then down the main street, continuing out the Corcreevy Road to Richhill Presbyterian Church.
